About us

     History of the Company dates back to 1989. In that very year Energomiar, a subsidy of Energetyka Poznańska SA and FAP Pafal in Świdnica, was set up. Shares of the Company held by Pafal were acquired on 30 October 2002 by Energetyka Poznańska. On 14 June 2004 the official name of the Company was changed from Energo-Pafal into Energomiar.
     In 2001 the Quality Management System ISO 9001:2000 was implemented. Further, following the requirements of the European Union, since 2004 clock controls manufactured by Energomiar have been certified with CE certificates.

      Since the very beginning the Company specialized in the sales, repair and legalization of electric energy meters. In the course of time the scope of the Company business was expanded with the manufacturing of tariff clock controls (ZE-08) installed in the electric energy meters and clock controls controlling the street lights (ZE-02). A new assembly line of induction electric energy meters licensed by Schlumberger (today Itron) was launched. The production of clock controls was continuously being expanded by establishing new assembly shops in Legnica, Gorzów and Maszewo.

      In response to the continuously changing market demands, a Measurement Lab testing electric energy meters was created.
     On 28 April 2006 the Company received an approval certificate of a calibrating lab no AP 095 issued by the Polish Centre for Accreditation. It is one of few laboratories of this kind operating in Poland and the only one in this country certified for calibration of stands for the legalization of electric energy meters.
     Accrediation comprises the calibration of active and reactive electric energy meters as well as control devices of electric energy meters.
     The laboratory also works out metrological as well as metrological and diagnostic expert reports and tests electric energy meters.
     Since January 2007 our Company has been licensed to primary and secondary legalization of active electric energy meters of class 0,2; 0,5; 1 and 2 issued by the President of the Central Office of Measures.
     Within the Company restructuring policy of ENEA Capital Group in the field of Measures, in January 2008 the Company merged with Hurtus Company with the seat in Zielona Góra and Elmas Company with the seat in Maszewo, covering with its operations the entire Szczecin region of ENEA Group. In 2009 Energomiar purchased the meter department of Energobud Leszno (formerly PUE Bydgoszcz) in Bydgoszcz. On 1 July 2009, in turn, Steren Sp. z o.o. with the seat in Bydgoszcz was merged within the Company.
     Following the merger, the scope of the Company operations expanded. We are currently offering, apart from meters being our major business operations, the supply of air-conditioning devices and electric heaters. We also design and install air-conditioning in rooms, provide consultancy services and install electric heaters. We supply cable connectors and switch-stations in thermoset cases.
     We also deal with Radio Power Control (System RPC), carry out the measurements, thermal tests and analyses, allowing for the visualization of the temperature range on the tested objects, we collect payments from the recipients of electric power and other utilities.
     We put a lot of effort to increase the quality of our services and to meet the demands of our Clients.
